Collection: Paintings

When I create, I am offering a story. I am exploring a moment of connection with others, with overlooked fragments, with the patterns of nature surrounding us. Some of my most prevalent themes are connections with found family and personal identity.

I want my viewers to find a moment to place themselves within the story of each piece. Our world has become so overrun with noise that we often only listen to speak. I want to provide a space for folks to slow down and connect without the fanfare of performative empathy or the impulse to argue. So while I love when viewers recognize themselves in my work, it is far more important for them to come away with the feeling that everything living, every story, is deserving of honor and respect.
